Robunmo is a translation of the Chinese word “Rougamo”, which is a street food originating from the Shannxi Province in China meaning “meat in a bun”.
It is said to be the world’s original and oldest burger dating back to the Qin Dynasty between 221-206BC and continues to be enjoyed throughout China to this day.

By introducing Robunmo to the UK, York has encapsulated the street food of China from the sweet tastes enjoyed in Eastern China, the salty edge adored in Northern China, the spiciness loved in the West and the light flavours from Southern China.
Robunmo are excited to bring ancient oriental street food to the UK complemented by a selection of well-known Chinese street dishes including bao buns, gyoza, spring rolls and popular chicken & beef dishes.
